Meet The Team

Junior golf is well supported and encouraged at Prestonfield Golf Club. In addition to our professional staff, Prestonfield GC has carefully chosen and developed a team of enthusiastic and encouraging volunteer coaches and helpers to work with our young golfers.

NEIL DALL – JUNIOR CONVENOR

Neil has been a member at Prestonfield GC since 2001 and plays regularly in gents’ competitions. He joined the junior volunteer coaching team in April 2016 and became junior convenor in 2023. LIZ TAYLOR – COACHING CONVENOR & CHILD PROTECTION OFFICER

Liz been a member of Prestonfield Golf Club for over 15 years, and she represents the junior section on the Club’s Council. She is also a member of the Midlothian County Ladies Golfing Association and represents Prestonfield in team matches. Liz has been a qualified volunteer coach since 2012 and won the ClubGolf ‘Volunteer of the Year’ award for 2013. This annual award rewards individuals who demonstrate excellence and dedication to the development of golf in their clubs.

SCOTT JOHNSTON – JUNIOR TEAM MANAGER

Scott has been a member of Prestonfield Golf Club for over 25 years, is a past gents’ Club Champion, and represents the club in team matches. Scott has been a qualified volunteer coach since 2012 and manages our Junior Team and Development League squads.
